The core of this exhibition: structure.

We see it expressed in everything.

It begins with the first atom and unfolds across endless space-time. It's there in how form arises and how energy moves.

The first impulse creates vibration, vibration creates a wave, and the wave creates a pattern.

That pattern repeats on every level, from the spirals of DNA to galaxies, from a heartbeat to the motion of planets. Structure decides how a cell will develop and how matter will be distributed in the universe. Life is born at the points where this structure concentrates. It shapes our bodies, the connections between our cells, the way we think, feel, love, and die. Since ancient times we have lived inside structure and been it.

Carl Jung, the psychoanalyst and psychologist, spoke through the collective unconscious about a person's life as part of a deeper structure holding the experience of all previous generations. In our own time the physicist and ecologist Fritjof Capra (b. 1939) describes the universe as a dynamic network of events and relationships:

"Modern science sees matter as a continuous structure of interconnected processes, not as something solid and isolated."

Their ideas meet the concept of this exhibition: an all-encompassing structure, interdependence, total reflection between everything.

This exhibition is about interconnection and the point of observation. About reality having an architecture, even when we don't see it. About an order that exists independently of our understanding.

We're used to treating structure as an instrument for knowing something or building something outside ourselves. In this exhibition structure appears as an independent and sovereign entity. Structure is what we are studying. Structure is the content.

Here the experience of spiritual practice is fixed in the matter of painting. The works of Valery OA are expressions of structure. The paintings are pearls in the vast and endless net of being, and each one reflects thousands of others. This structure is called Indra's net, an old philosophical image from Hinduism and Buddhism used to describe how everything that exists is bound together.

Indra's net is not abstract or removed from life. It's here, in our daily connections, in our decisions and actions. Each of us is an important part of this system. We carry the structure. Together we weave the unique pattern of life. The way we think and act, the way we treat ourselves and others, shapes the fabric of our reality. We create that reality together, constantly, mirroring one another, learning and teaching.
