About me
I'm Valery OA, an artist working in abstract painting and aerography.
The center of my creative inquiry is how a person connects to the single structure of everything that exists. My practice is closely tied to my own spiritual path. As I explore the nature of life through ancient Amazonian practices, Eastern philosophy, and my own observation, I bring what I learn and live through into my paintings.
I work with acrylic and other materials, combining pointillism, aerographic painting, and textured, dimensional techniques. There's a foundational principle in Eastern teaching: energy flows where attention goes. Modern physics holds that the observer shapes reality. Working from both, I treat the act of creation as a practice.
Each painting reflects different levels of the architecture of our existence, and it's the quintessence of my love for the universe and for life itself. Through my work I invite the viewer to recognize themselves as part of a larger system, and to think about their own life, choices, and responsibility.
